What? STILL making Christmas cards?

Morning all,

Yes, despite the fact that Christmas was more than two weeks ago .... I find that I'm STILL making Christmas cards - my own fault you know, as I ordered new Christmas stash in the New Year sales! Not sure why ..... but I seldom think to use kraft card (despite having a small truckload of the stuff) and yet I am always so pleased with the effect of my pencils when I do - check out my make below

My card
And a closer view of the colouring on kraft card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 300gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • One piece of kraft card cut to fit
  • One piece of white card cut to fit the inside of the card
  • Hobby Art Stamps image and background stamps (from CS106-D Christmas Friends) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Precious Remembrance Shop sentiment (from Sketchy Christmas) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour the image and blended using Sansodor and paper stumps
  • Stardust stickles to bling up the fur, beard, skyline and trees

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 73 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Happy Little Stampers - January challenge - CHRISTMAS + optional twist of CAS
  3. Eclecticellapu - December/January challenge - CHRISTMAS
  4. Country View Crafts - January challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  5. Sparkles Monthly Challenge - challenge No. 99 - CHRISTMAS

Then ... I decided to take a break from A) Christmas cards and B) using pencils to colour so here's a make just using inks!
