Morning all, welcome to another week ...

Morning all,

Here's hoping you all enjoyed your weekend and that the rather DIRE weather didn't ruin any plans. Round these parts it was pretty pants (no chance of any line drying of laundry!) and chilly too - definitely a weekend to stay in and craft. ... so, that's pretty much exactly what I did! Check out my latest Christmas card!

My card
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of card (one white, one navy) cut to 13cm x 9cm
  • One piece of white card cut to 12cm x 8cm
  • Personal Impressions image (Snowman choir 710M) and sentiment (Precious Remembrance Shop Sketchy Christmas) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell Polychromos pencils used to colour and blended using Sansodor and a paper stump
  • Stardust stickles used to highlight

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 364 - 7th Birthday theme of MUSIC (2nd entry)
  2. Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge - challenge No. 371 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  3. Sweet Stampin' - February 3rd challenge - ANYTHING BUT A BIRTHDAY
  4. Kraftin' Kimmie - challenge No. 416 - MOVIE INSPIRED . . . . . this won't come as much of a surprise but I went with THE SNOWMAN!
  5. QKR Stampede - challenge No. 281 - ANYTHING GOES

I'll also be uploading it to the Christmas Card "challenge" on facebook which isn't truly a challenge as there are no winners or prizes but merely a weekly theme set to encourage us all to make our 2018 quota of Christmas cards in time! This week's theme? It's ANYTHING GOES

And now on to a card deploying one of my fave techniques, layering stamps

My card
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
