That's it then, today sees the end of February!

How WAS your February? The way this year is going I'd best start my Christmas shopping!! Har Har - no seriously, this year is already running away with me! Am I alone in this?

And a closer view, which shows the "ice" texture
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of black card cut to ATC size
  • Snippet of textured grey card cut slightly smaller than the black mat layer and Ranger Archival jet black ink "smooshed" top to bottom, to grunge it up a bit, and then set aside to dry
  • Taking the Ranger Archival jet black ink pad and a piece of silver "mirri" card I "smooshed" the ink, top to bottom
  • Creative Expressions image and sentiment stamped using the archival ink too ..... I then heat set the mirri card before proceeding
  • Taking the versamark ink pad I "smooshed" top to bottom again, liberally sprinkled clear embossing powder (shaking off the excess) and heat set before assembling my ATC ... VOILA! The "black ice technique" - fab isn't it?

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Ike's World - challenge No. 105 - HIDDEN DESIRES .. I've always wanted to be able to skateboard, haven't you?
  2. Through The Craft Room Door - February 27th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Take A Word - February 25th challenge - SILHOUETTES
  4. Crafting From The Heart - challenge No. 196 - ANYTHING GOES
And then it was on to a card, another non specific occasion card . . . . . .

My finished card
And a closer view of the image panel

FABULOUS ATC with that super icy technique (very appropriate for the current weather!).

Loving the non specific card too.

Blinking f-f-f-freezing out there today, my card said -4 degrees this morning with a higher wind chill factor. Stay warm and cosy at home. I would if I didn't have to go to work!

Hugs, Sarn xxx

I love your ATC and the skateboarder is a great masculine image and what a great idea to heat emboss with Clear Gloss EP which gives it a great textural finish, and then the fun image on the card and two super sentiments, and so prettily coloured Kathy. x
