Friday and the official start to the weekend

Morning readers,

As we roll towards another weekend some of you may have firework displays to attend .. in which case, enjoy and ... wrap up warm!

Speaking of warm ... I am LOVING the way the warm colours, used below, worked together - this make is for a commission where I was asked NOT to include any words so the commissionee could choose the occasion - hope she likes this one, and the green one below that.

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of yellow card, cut to mat
  • Using low tack tape I masked off a panel and applied Distress Ink in spiced marmalade and barn door, then (without re-inking) I applied the ink through a Dylusions circle stencil
  • I removed the tape and stamped the Inkadinkado image (97631 "Circles and dots") using Versafine onyx black ink
  • I replaced the tape in order to spray JUST the inked panel with Krylon matte fixative, to protect the water based inks
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. WaterCooler Wednesday - challenge No. 194 - ANYTHING GOES - 2nd entry
  2. DoubleD Challenge - October 17th challenge - STRIPES and DOTS - Dots are obvious and I'm really hoping the background stripe counts
  3. A Bit More Time To Craft - challenge No. 79 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Creative Crafters - challenge No. 9 - ANYTHING GOES

And here's another of my commission makes, as specified .. with no words

Lovely cards, Kathy! I love that circles and dots image you've used on the pretty inked panel. It's a happy image that could stand for many occasions, which should make the person who commissioned it happy. Great choice having the yellow matte. Such a happy card! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Three beautiful cards Kathy. I simply adore the look of the first with the dark image against the brightly coloured masked background, and with some pretty stencilling too, then the dandelion which looks great with your doodled edge and some lovely dp, and then your cute soldier looks great against the red starry paper, and the dark mat lifts really well. x

That is the correct blog for anyone who desires to search out out about this topic. You notice so much its virtually onerous to argue with you (not that I really would need…HaHa). You definitely put a brand new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just nice! best online casinos
