Saturday post

Morning readers,

Hope you've had a good week and have some fun things to look forward to this weekend. I've made it to the Table of Craftiness a few times this week so have one or two things to share with you today, the first is an Artist Trading Coin. I just love their scale (2½" in diameter) and the stamped used below was virtually perfect. I don't use a lot of blue so thought I would use those colours for my coin.

My Artist Trading Coin
And a closer view of the colouring
Materials used:
  • Snippets of card in blue and white
  • 2½" circle die used to cut my ATCoin
  • Art Impressions (L-3104) image stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils (blues and flesh tones) used to colour image and background
  • Paper Artsy splatter image (from HTPX01) stamped using Memento London fog ink
  • Anita's dimensional gloss (on the glasses and hatband) and Diamond stickles (earring)

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. CardzTV - challenge No. 84 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Colour Crazy - challenge No. 8 - ANYTHING (hand coloured) GOES
  3. Crafting With Friends - challenge No. 81 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Creative Fingers - challenge No. 158 - ANYTHING GOES
  5. Pearly Sparkles - challenge No. 38 - MAKE IT GIRLIE
And now for my entry for the Less Is More challenge .... the theme is HOROSCOPES ... I'm not particularly in to things like horoscopes and star signs, hence not exactly sticking "strictly" to the brief - I knew I would never send that card if I did! Here's my slight stretch of the theme make ..... hope my fellow LIM-ettes like it and don't think it's too far removed from the brief - it's LEO btw!
