Friday and the weekend starts this afternoon!

Morning readers,

You got plans for the weekend? We'll be catching up with friends at some point and, I imagine, I'll be hitting the ToC (Table of Craftiness) too

Meanwhile, I've an inky creation to share with you this morning .... sentiment free, as part of a commission

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of black card, cut to mat
  • One piece of scrap card with aperture cut out, to use as a mask
  • With the mask taped in place I applied Distress ink in tea dye and frayed burlap using a mini blending tool
  • Tim Holtz stencil (THS022 Crocodile) placed over my image panel and Distress Ink in frayed burlap applied through the stencil and then allowed to dry before removing the mask
  • Plane image (Stampers Anonymous (THMM105) stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Replacing the mask I applied a quick coat of Krylon sealant, to protect the water based inks in transit

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. The House That Stamps Built - challenge No. 2219 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Crafty Creations - challenge No. 391 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Crafty Addicts - challenge No. 60 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. CRAFT Challenge - challenge No. 514 - FATHERS DAY/MASCULINE
  5. Crafting With An Attitude - challenge No. 51 - ANYTHING GOES

And another card, for my sentiment free commission

My card
And a closer view of the colour and foiling

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • Purple card, cut to mat
  • Snippets of card in white and black, for my image panel
  • Snippet of purple card to which I added the Stamplorations "Nestlng circles" stencil. I then applied a liberal coating of Ranger collage glue stick, burnishing with my fingers. I removed (and cleaned) my stencil before applying a layer of gold foil over the glue stick - again, burnishing with my fingers. I let it cure overnight before removing foil and cutting to size
  • Stampabilities image (rom 1573807) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Pencils used to colour

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Dream Valley Challenge - challenge No. 202 - ONLY GIRLS ALLOWED
  2. Simon Says Stamp - Monday challenge - USE A STENCIL
  3. Addicted to Stamps - challenge No. 342 - MAKE YOUR MARK

Fabulous inked background and jet card . .. perfectly suited to masculine or Bon Voyage cards to name just two occasions!

Terrific feminine card too. Also suitable for a variety of occasions.

Two more great cards for your commission Kathy, and I love the little masked off are over which you have stamped the plane which works really well, and the prettily coloured lady goes beautifully with the gold foiled purple background. x
