Woo Hoo! Monday again! ..... once more, this time with FEELING!

Morning readers,

Welcome to a new week, please welcome my latest follower, Chana, thanks for following me, hope to see you again soon.

Good weekend everyone? Ours wasn't too bad, especially once it had started to cool down - I like summer and all but ... the recent weather? Bit too hot for me, there's been times when I've felt like chucked the contents of the fridge outside and sleeping in the space!

I've not felt a great deal like hitting the Table of Craftiness so ... imagine the creativity over the weekend with the slightly cooler weather - check out my birthday card and ATC below ... and have a great week - I hear it's gonna rain!

Saturday .. BBQ weather? Or NOT!

Morning readers,

Of course, if the last week is anything to go by ... it might actually be too hot to sit outside to eat!! Who'd'a thunk it!!!

I've not even been able to spend a lot of time at my Table of Craftiness as my table is adjacent to a large patio window (it's great for the light but can get VERY hot!) but .... I'm no quitter! It's rapidly approaching exam results time .. and now I'm ready for them!

  • I stamped the VLV sentiment (from plate #925) using Versafine Clair nocurne ink
  • Elsewhere I stamped the Sparkle 'n Sprinkle sentiment (from st #777) and the wonderful dotty chevron (from Creative Expressions CEC851 - "Inspiring Edges") using Memento rhubarb stalk

Friday ... the start of the "official" weekend!

Morning readers,

Despite the SCORCHING weather we've had this week (not to mention the terrific storms of Tuesday night/Wednesday morning) I've been working on Christmas cards! Well, yesterday WAS Rudolph Day!

So, there I was, sitting in the garden enjoying the early evening as it was STARTING to cool down and the husband calls me across to the fence, saying "Any idea what this is"? I had no idea, hence the photo ..... asked a few knowledgeable pals and we're pretty sure it's an elephant head hawk moth - such pretty pink markings, if I still had an Observers book of butterflies and moths this would probably be another tick in the box!

Wednesday and the weekend's on its way!

Morning readers,

I've had occasion to make an engagement card .. now I keep lots of cards "in stock" but I didn't have an engagement card - figuring most of the people I know are either married or happily single - it seems I may have been wrong! So, here's what I came up with . . . . .

It's a short post today ... on the grounds it's too hot to sit here at the computer for too long but .. if you leave me a comment I promise I will try to repay the favour - appreciate you taking the time in this heat too. Was anyone else wide awake half the night watching the lightning? I took half a dozen (sleepy) videos but there seemed to be a lull in the lightning the second I pressed "RECORD"!!!
