Saturday and it's time for more challenge makes ...

Morning readers
My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of canteloupe linen textured card (DCWV), cut to mat
  • Kaisercraft "Hexagons" image partially stamped using Memento canteloupe ink
  • Imagine That sentiment (from "Write Big" #2) and Cart-US "bee" image (from 001883/1060) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink





I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 400 - RECIPE .... SMALL IMAGES - the bee image is 4cm or 1.57"
  2. Alphabet Challenge - July 19th challenge - "I" is for INSECT
  3. Polkadoodles - challenge No. 29 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Creative Fingers - challenge No. 168 - ANYTHING GOES


And for my next piece of crafting, deploying one of my fave "go to" techniques ... that of layering ik and stamps ...

  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in navy, Costco double sided and white
  • Stencils used: HoneyDoo circles and Dutchdoobadoo 470.715.129
  • Inks used: Memento dandelion, tangelo, rosebud, Versafine Clair twilight and nocturne
  • Stamps used: Kaisercraft "crackle", StudioLight SL341. Chapel Road "Vertical Greetings"

What a gorgeous bee Kathy and love the fuzzy look to the honeycomb background, and a great mix of stamps and stencils on the ATC, and love the addition of the orange and red which together with the darker tones gives great contrast. x

Your LIM set looks beautiful; love that subtile background that you made for the beautiful bee!
And layering stamps is a technique I like to do too! (most of the time with some masking); it gives a different look every time... And this one looks beautiful to! Hope your weel will be a sunny one! Hugs, Gerrina

That small bee is super cute and just perfect for our challenge! All the white space looks lovely and I love the yellow card you matted your focal panel to, it adds a lot of interest and is perfect for the bee theme! Thank you for joining us at Less Is More!
