Morning readers,
I'm not sure how I feel about the release of lockdown, part of me wants it gone and part me of wonders if it's just "too soon" (probably because we've all been in some form of restriction or lockdown since March 2020) - guess we'll have to wait and see. Here's hoping though .... can't wait to get truly back to "normal" - whenever that turns out to be.
Now, yesterday was the day in the month designated as RUDOLPH DAY which most crafters know about .... the time to make your monthly Christmas project in order to make it less of a dash to the finish line when we reach November and realise Christmas is ONLY a month away! Needless to say, I TRY to make a Christmas card/project each month though, in 2021, I'm so far ahead of myself (thanks primarily to lockdown allowing me to craft without guilt!) that I hardly need to make any more cards or tags, maybe THIS will be the year I get round to that advent calendar I keep promising myself! May I suggest that you don't hold your breath though, as I've been threatening this for nigh on ten years and haven't done it yet!
Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, 6" x 6" card and matching sized envelope
- Silver glitter card, DCWV metallic blue card, white card - all cut to fit and mat
- Polka dot ribbon (from Michaels) attached to my metallic blue card using double sided tape
- Paper Artsy snowman image (from ZA19) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Clearly Besotted sentiments (2 - from CBSS1276 "Simply Sentiments") stamped using Versafine Clair twilight (blue) ink
- I used Arteza water colour brush paints and Gansai Tambi starry colour water colours to colour my image

Great grungy make, I have that eye stamp NBUS, never thought of using just the stars!

A great snowman Christmas card and I love the use of the metallic water colours. Thanks for playing along with Christmas Craft Creations. X
Wow, really fun colors for an unusual snowman! So much shine! Thanks so much for playing at Sparkles!
The metallic blue and silver card is beautifully shimmery Kathy, and the sweet snowman with blue hat and card coordinates perfectly and love the polka dot ribbon across the centre of the card as a finishing touch. The ATCoin looks great stamped in black, grey and red and backed in that beautiful bright red too and love the script and stars which look very pretty. x
Super cute card (I'm getting waaaaay behind on making my Christmas cards!) as I'm always a sucker for blue and snowmen!! And your ATC coin is very cool; great grunge look to it! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
Always a good idea to make Christmas cards throughout the year! Love these. The white, black and red looks so good together. Beautiful!
