TGIF, I hear the sound of a weekend approaching

Morning readers,

I've a make to share with you today ... I have let myself fall woefully behind with my Christmas card making and the only way forward (if I want to finish in time) is to make a couple of batches to allow me to "catch up", so .... here's a batch of SIX, in progress. I was well ahead of myself in March but didn't get the chance in April (poorly) or May (vacation) and then my mojo went AWOL - doesn't take long to fall behind, does it?

Ink colouring in progress - like watching
paint/ink dry - literally! Thank heavens for tea!

And then ... the finished card / batch of six

ONE of the batch of six C6 cards

The fronts and backs of my cards and envelopes

Pretty cards all in a row!

Materials used:

  • Six times white, 250gsm, C6 cards and envelopes
  • Six sets of: white card and mid blue textured card, cut for my card fronts, inserts and matting layers
  • Paper Artsy image and sentiment (from JOFY68 - May 2024 and both NBUS) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and paradise inks
  • MFT sentiment (from CS.723 "Holiday cheers") stamped using Versafine Clair paradise ink
  • Derwent Inktense blocks (yellow) used to colour my stars and then stickles crystal glitter glue to add some festive sparkle!

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

  1. NBUS - challenge No. 66 - USE NBUS
  2. Merry Little Christmas Challenge - challenge No. 58 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Peace on Earth - challenge No. 71 - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) MOOD BOARD
  4. The Holly and Ivy - challenge No. 168 - ANYTHING GOES
  5. 12 Months of Christmas - challenge No. 114 - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) MERRY "PIG"MAS

A great batch of cards Kathy and I love the bright yellow stars and the fun sentiment with the blue matted layer which complements it perfectly. x

A great batch of Christmas cards, Kathy. I first thing I noticed in your photo is the table covering, which is exactly the same as mine…… we’ve obviously both got the same good taste! 🤣 xx

Good job, Kathy! It's a fun design and I love the bright yellow! I need to do the same on this side of the pond and when I get caught up, I need to look around and see what I can use for batch-making. Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS and to get going on those Chrissie cards! (Sorry for the late visit.) Hugs, Darnell
