It's Friday and you've the weekend to look forward to ....

Morning readers, 

I've a make to share with you today ....... using new stash and some designer paper (something I do NOT use very often)!

My card

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
  • White card and patterned paper cut to fit ... can't recall the name but I want to say "Dolly Mixtures"
  • Paper Mill intense green card, cut to mat
  • Snippets of leftover card in white and intense green
  • Woodware JGS559 image stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink and sentiment stamped in Versafine Clair charming pink ink
  • Pro Markers used to colour image (colours listed below)
  • Memory Box grid stencil (88517) used to apply Memento pear tart ink using a makeup brush
  • Stardust stickles to bling up the image

Pro Marker colours: Cocktail Pink, Leaf and Lime Greens,
Ivory, Gold and Cornflower

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

  2. Creative Inspirations - September challenge - SPOTS, DOTS or splats ...... hope the spots on my flower and DP count
  3. Water Cooler Wednesday - challenge No. 287 - ANYTHING GOES - with a feminine twist
  4. Cute Card Thursday - challenge No. 650 - ANYTHING GOES

And now for some gift wrap which I co-ordinated with my previously made card ....

Materials used:
  • Kraft wrap, cut to fit my package
  • Kraft tag
  • Paper tape
  • Paper "string" in cream and brown
  • Penny Black image (from "Allegro") and TCP sentiment (from S.5745.CL) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Stardust stickles

  2. Crafty Creations - challenge No. 413 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Krafty Chicks - challenge No. 523 (wk 1) - STAMP ACT

Still walking daily and .... hubby was heading to mow the field and dropped me "en route" ... a very pleasant three mile walk home and not too hot for me either! Quite a change from yesterday when it was chucking it down! ... no pix of that walk!!!

Beautiful card, Kathy. The subtle stencilling around the image sets it off perfectly. What a clever idea to make coordinating wrapping paper. xx

Such pretty sparkly multi coloured flowers with the MB grid stencilled in the background Kathy, and the paper goes beautifully, and your own gift wrap on brown paper stamped with that lovely flower, and a tag too. Another lovely walk, and if you are walking about twenty miles a week you must be so fit! x
