TGIF peeps, it's almost the weekend!

Morning readers,

I've a make to share with you today ... a batch of two Christmas cards, I am still short of cards for 2026! I recently made two similar cards and really liked the tree image. I chose to change the sentiment, the colours used for the tree (including the ink) and the matting layer colour too - to make it a little different, hope it works, if you want to see the previous batch then you can see them here, I think this version looks modern, in the slightly different colours - what do you all think? I LOVE this tree image and you may well be seeing more of it between now and Christmas, for which I make no apology.

Plenty of glitter!

Materials used:

  • White, 250gsm, C6 card and envelope
  • Card in white and lime green, for my card front, insert and matting layer
  • Precious Remembrance Shop sentiment (from "Sketchy Christmas") stamped using Versafine Clair strawberry ink
  • Paper Artsy tree image (from JOFY 01) stamped using Versafine Clair shady lane ink
  • Alcohol markers (marvy le plume II and Copics) and Faber Castell polychromos coloured pencils used to colour my image
  • Stardust stickles used to add sparkle to the stars and the "grounding"

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

  1. The Holly and Ivy - challenge No. 214 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Night Owls - challenge No. 66 - CHRISTMAS
  3. Creative Inspirations - challenge No. 43 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Outlawz Christmas Challenge - October challenge - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  5. Art Impressions - challenge No. 439 - GLITTER ALL THE WAY! There's certainly plenty of glitter on the stars and base

I was a lucky TOP PICK over at Krafty Chicks this week, thank you so much for the recognition, appreciate it.

Loving this pair of festive cards. I prefer the fonts of the sentiment on this duo, so for that reason, I’m gonna say I prefer this set. Agree that the tree is a lovely modern design. Xxx
