Welcome to the middle of the week!

Morning readers,

Middle of the week? That can only mean one thing ... it's downhill to the weekend! HUZZAH!

My Artist Trading Card
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in pearlised grey, white and textured (DCWV) blue
  • Using Memento London fog ink, an Aldi stencil brush and a Dutchdoobadoo stencil (470.715.120) I applied colour over the white card
  • Taking the Imagination Craftions stencil (broken grid) I repeated the process but using Memento grey flannel ink
  • Tim Holtz Artistry clear stamp set image and sentiment (which I've had so long I couldn't see any reference number/title) stamped using Versafine Clair twilight ink
  • Creative Expressions chevron (one of my faves but it's been resting for a little while now so ....) from CEC851, stamped using Memento sweet plum ink which I then used to edge the white card panel before adhering first to my blue layer and then to my grey layer

My card
 
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of 300gsm white card cut to fit
  • One piece of 300gsm black card, cut to mat
  • Dina Wakley star images, stamped using Versafine onyyx black and Ranger Archival shadow grey inks
  • Tim Holtz sentiment (from THJ009 "Saying Stuff") stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Tim Holtz small star (from CSS30201 "Grunge cirque") stamped using Ranger Archival vermilion ink

If you stopped by on Monday then you will have seen that I've recently spent some time in Barcelona, Spain ..... no trip there would be complete without a visit to the awesome La Sagrada Familia - I took so many pix that I couldn't possibly share them all here, or on Monday's post - so, here are some of the outside and inside

Another great ATC using your favourite TH gentleman Kathy, and some super stencilling in the background, and your masculine birthday commission with the lovely red, grey and black stars works well too, very effective. I love your pics of the Sagrada Familia, it is a church like no other...truly amazing! It's just as well you are not there now as there has been quite a bit of rioting so not so good at the moment. x
