Morning readers,
I've a make to share with you today ....... I wasn't entirely convinced when my good friend Amanda said her best (recent) buy was the Heffy Doodle circle mask/stencil but ... by crikey! - she wasn't wrong! Thanks for the recommendation, Amanda.
I've a make to share with you today ....... I wasn't entirely convinced when my good friend Amanda said her best (recent) buy was the Heffy Doodle circle mask/stencil but ... by crikey! - she wasn't wrong! Thanks for the recommendation, Amanda.
Materials used:
- White C6/A2, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of white card cut to fit
- One piece of deep green card, cut to mat
- Using my Heffy Doodle stencil (taped in place) I applied Adirondack lettuce ink over the circle before placing the Stamposaurus stencil over the circle and applying more lettuce ink, graduating to Adirondack bottle green ink - both applied with a makeup brush. I almost always bought some Stamposaurus stencils whenever I was at the Newbury Artstamps show and now neither of them exist - BUMMER!
- Before removing my stencil I placed the "negative" circle in place and then removed the stencil before applying a light application of Adirondack pesto ink around the outer edged of my circle, thus defining the circle
- TCP sentiment (from S.5845.CL) and Paper Artsy image (from HP1004) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- Crafting Happiness - challenge No. 69 - ANYTHING GOES
- Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 144 - ANYTHING GOES
- Allsorts - challenge No. 595 - CELEBRATION
- Crafty Sentiments - October 27th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- Water Cooler Wednesday - challenge No. 295 - ALL ABOUT OCCASIONS

I discovered I was a random winner over at Simon Says Stamp's Monday challenge - thanks so much peeps, really appreciate that. The folks there are really on the ball ... I sent my e-mail to claim my proze and, within an hour, had an e-mail back outlining what would happen next. Another hour and I was in possession of my gift card details - bet I can't narrow down what I want to order .... anything like that fast!!!!

And, I seem to be on a roll as I was a winner over at Cute Card Thursday for their challenge No. 657 (theme of Stamping) - thank you so much - always so lovely to know that people like my work

Many congratulations on your recent wins/recognition.
LOVE your new stencil and mask set . . . It's made a lovely card with all that inking. Love it when manufacturers think to give us the cut out piece to use as a mask as well as the stencil. Much more environmentally friendly than discarding it.
Happy Friday xxx
I love the two tones of green you have used with this brilliant circular mask Kathy and the silhouette PaperArtsy flower image is beautiful over the top and love that bold font sentiment too. Congrats on the two recent wins, you are obviously on a roll, you'd better buy a lottery ticket..lol. They are both worthy winners though. x
Love that stencilled circle which is perfect behind your shilouette stamp. Thanks for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week. Tristan DT.
