Whoopee! Wednesday, downhill to the weekend!

Morning readers,

Had a really nice outing yesterday, with a couple of friends and neighbours - it was so nice to be able to get together - we walked to the local coffee shop (about a 1½ mile round trip) and enjoyed a natter over coffee. Nina (only three months old), was very well behaved until it got to about feeding time - but we knew that in advance and had planned our outing accordingly.

I've a make to share with you today ....... it's another sympathy card. I prefer to make some before I need them, so much less stressful.

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of black card, cut to mat
  • Inkadinkado multi foliage image (from 99118 "morphic flowers") stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
  • Avery Elle sentiment (ST.18-07 "loadsa wishes") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Caran d'Ache Neocolour II water soluble crayons used to add just a touch of colour

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 431 - MORE THAN ONE TYPE OF FOLIAGE
  2. Gem of a Challenge - challenge No. 22 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Pammie's Inky Pinkies - challenge No. 2043 - ANYTHING GOES

This stamp is very pretty and the flowers in those two lovely colours look great Kathy. Glad you enjoyed a walk with friends and with a cup of coffee thrown in too. It's this sociability we have all been missing. x

Super card Kathy. The design is just right for a sympathy card, sadly we all need them at some time or another don't we. Thank you for sharing with us at Less is More,

Beautiful sympathy card, Kathy! This stamp set looks fabulous and I love how you coloured only two flowers of it. So artsy. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.
