I've a make to share with you today ....... bit of a mod vibe going on, with the retro squares and the mini skirt!
I've a make to share with you today ....... bit of a mod vibe going on, with the retro squares and the mini skirt!
- ATC blank
- Snippets of leftover card in white and Paper Mill intense green
- On the white snippet, and using a makeup brush, I applied Memento rosebud ink over the entire panel
- Placing my TCW 154 retro squares stencil over the inked panel and using the same brush, I applied Ranger Archival vibrant fuchsia ink
- Craft Stamper free image (by Dina Wakely ... early 2019) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- StudioLight border image (from SL470 - yes, it's a Christmas set!) stamped using Versafine Clair charming pink ink
- Chapel Road sentiment (from Vertical Greetings A) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- White Tsukineko gelly roll gel pen used to doodle a border
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- Sweet Stampin' - October 10th challenge - USE YOUR OLD STASH ... that stencil had been in my collection so long I had totally forgotten I had it. The Chapel Road sentiments at least five years!
- Creative Inspirations - October challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- Crafty Creations - challenge No. 414 - ANYTHING GOES
- Penny's Paper Crafty - challenge No. 482 - ANYTHING GOES
- Love to Craft Challenge Blog - October challenge - ANYTHING GOES
Materials used:
- White C6/A2, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of white card cut to fit
- One piece of Paper Mill intense green card, cut to mat
- Snippets of leftover card in both the white and the green
- Craft Sensations floral stencil placed over my card front panel and then, using makeup brushes, the following inks applied: Adirondack brights in citrus, watermelon and purple twilight, Memento sweet plum
- A Muse sentiments (8-8308-B "under the weather" and 8-8312-B "better soon") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Sentiment panel mounted on to a strip of the green card before mounting using Stix2 clear dimensional tape

- Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday challenge - MAKE A CARD AND ENVELOPE TO MATCH

I love the retro look of your ATC Kathy in those pretty pinks and some lovely white doodling too, and the super stencil with the dotty flowers and leaves looks beautiful in the four colours and matted with the lovely green. x

I love the border of the first one. Great use of the stamp, on the purple backing.
