Saturday .... got plans?

Morning readers, 

Welcome to the weekend, got any plans? We have guests for dinner today - two of the "surrogates" as it's SS-i-L's birthday weekend.

I've a few makes to share with you today ....... here's the first one

My Artist Trading Card, measuring just 3½"x2½"

Materials used:

• ATC blank
• Snippets of leftover card in white and textured deep red
• Using a makeup brush and Adironack red pepper ink I applied a light colour to the white card snippet before overlaying my Creative Expressions (Arty Hearts - NBUS) stencil and applying further red pepper ink
• TCP sentiment (S.5845.CL) and Craft Emotions grasses (130501/1237 "herbs and branches") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• I used a black sharpie to outline the white card panel and my deep red ATC but then used a white gelly roll gel pen to draw a border around the outside of my image panel, once the ATC was assembled, to make it pop

And now for a Christmas card, as we roll towards December! This one's simple, quick and CAS - could come in handy for a batch make, should I need it!

My 4" square Kraft card

Materials used:

• Kraft, 300gsm, 4" square card and matching envelope
• Card in white and red, cut to fit and mat
• Paper Artsy stencil (PS020) taped in place and, using Aldi stencil brushes I applied Versafine Clair cheerful and tulip red inks
• Crafters Companion sentiments (from GEM-ST-FESTP) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink

And now for the third and final make, a masculine card ..... I used a great looking stamp set I found online, it was only after I took delivery that I found out (from a friend) that it was actually a knock off set of an Altenew Design - I have the original set on my wish list but (until then) I thought I would give this set another outing for a masculine and monochrome look.

My C6 card

Materials used:

1. White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching sized envelope
2. Card in white and black, cut to fit and mat and snippets for my image/sentiment and die cut panels
3. Nesting faux stitched square dies, to cut my white square as part of my sketch
4. Using my MISTI stamping platform and the graded lines image I stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink, stamping again until I got a decent black line.
5. Sentiment from the same set also stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
