Wednesday ... you can almost see the weekend, can't you?

Morning readers,

A friend joined us for dinner yesterday, hubby treated us to his red Thai curry - YUM! Nice evening and a lovely chance to catch up, just nice to be able to once more. Got some of the gorgeously tasty sauce left this morning and wondering how it would taste ... as soup!

I've a make to share with you today ....... got some new stash .. you know what it's like, you go online to replace an ink pad and (almost before you know it) something else has fallen in to your virtual basket!!! This make uses one of those impulse buys - but perhaps you can see why!

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • White card cut to fit, for image panel and insert
  • Scrap of card which I used as a mask, once I'd cut an aperture
  • Woodware image (from JGS752 - NBUS) and HLS sentiment (from "Wish you were here") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Memory box (88517 - grid) stencil used, with a makeup brush, to apply Distress Oxide in kitsch flamingo
  • Neon pink sharpie - to edge my image panel
  • Dimensional foam tape, to adhere my image panel to my card front

My new "accidental" stash

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. NBUS - challenge No. 31 - USE NBUS
  2. HLS - October stencil challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - challenge No. 195 - "B" is for BIRTHDAY
  4. Creative Moments - challenge No. 224 - ANYTHING GOES
  5. Gem of a Challenge - challenge No. 21 - ANYTHING GOES

Hubby was up and about good and early one morning this week and determined to head to the tip ... "did I want a lift" (so I could take a walk with some different scenery) .... off we went. He dropped me, a little after 08:00, at a local park. I tootled about the park (they have a path which is just over a km per circuit) and I planned to walk home from there, which would have resulted in a walk of a fraction over three miles, the park WAS lovely at that time of day, check it out

What a lovely card Kathy, I love that stamp and can see why you couldn't resist it. I need to do some shopping for basic supplies today - I wonder if I'll end up with any "extras"?

Great accidental choices of Woodware stamps Kathy..lol. and I love the silhouette flower you used on this card with the pretty pink graph stencilling in the background. The park looks lovely and peaceful for an early morning walk. x

The card made with your new flower stamps is just gorgeous. Love the stencilled background too.

I bet the leftover sauce will taste great in a soup.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

I don't think I've ever made an online purchase without something jumping into my cart. LOL! This is beautiful and we thank you for sharing it with the Sisterhood!
