My card
And a closer view of the image panel

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of grey card, cut to mat
  • Low tack tape used to mask off my chosen image panel
  • Using a mini blending tool I applied Distress Inks: peacock feathers, salty ocean and faded jeans, spritzing with a little water and then flicking water from my fingers, to obtain slightly larger splats - I left it to "develop" for a few moments before blotting with paper towel
  • TPC Studio Sentiment (from "Greetings" ST93416) and Stampers Anonymous foliage (CSS27836 "Natures Elements") stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • I replaced the tape to mask off my card before giving a spritz of Krylon sealant, to protect the water based inks
  • Stardust stickles to "bling up" the foliage

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Alphabet Challenge - May 19th challenge - "D" is for DISTRESS INKS/PAPERS
  2. QKR Stampede - challenge No. 348 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Simply Create Too - May challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Through The Purple Haze - challenge No. 156 - I'VE GOT THE BLUES
  5. The Happy Craft Challenge - May challenge - ANYTHING GOES

Two fabulous cards Kathy, and I the car image is a beauty and given depth with the red stencilling around it which looks great, and the stunning blue masked area on the second complements the pretty foliage and love the added sparkle on it and the lovely large sentiment to finish. x
