Monday and another week beginning

Morning readers,

Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend, we met up with pals for a catch up over lunch recently, which was lovely - thanks so much Sarn and Gra, it's been too long. Has to be said though ... boy DID it RAIN "en route"!!! Then we continued on our journey to Rye .... pix to follow in a couple of days

I've a make to share with you today .......

My C6 card and, below:
The front/back/inside of my card and the front/back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • White card and deep green card, cut to fit and mat
  • Stampers Anonymous leaf images (from SM133 and CMS136) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
  • Clearly Besotted sentiment (from "mini calligraphy") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Derwent "Inktense" blocks used to watercolour the leaf and Faber Castell polychromos pencils to highlight
  • Memory Box grid stencil (88517) and Memento per tart ... to add a little texture and interest to my card front

My regular readers will know that I try to walk daily and have been trying to get fitter as well as enjoying fresh air and some nice views ... so here's another I'd like to share with you ..... a local pond with newts and moorhens in residence, not that you are going to see either in this pic, let's be honest, if I didn't tell you it was a pond you wouldn't know .... it's a little overgrown right now - sorry!

I love your beautifully coloured leaf and sentiment with the soft background stencilling Kathy..a super card. Great for you to have a meet up with Sarn and Gra on your way to Rye. We visited it a few times when we lived in the south east and it is an extremely pretty place, so hope you had a good time, and that the rain did stop. x
