This week's obsession appears to be anniversary cards ... I spotted a gap in my "stock" and, never one to do things by halves I've made four in the past three days, this is the fourth!
This week's obsession appears to be anniversary cards ... I spotted a gap in my "stock" and, never one to do things by halves I've made four in the past three days, this is the fourth!

Materials used:
- White C6/A2, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of card (one white and one pearlised purple) cut to 14.2cm x 10cm
- One piece of card cut to 13.7cm x 9.5cm
- Snippets of card in white, black and pearlised purple - for my image panel
- Unknown unmounted rubber image and Hero Arts sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
- Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour image and background
- Memento rhubarb stalk ink applied through TCW stencil to simulate tiled "grounding" to my image and applied to the outer edges of the pearlised purple DCWV card (as it has a white core)
- Gold/white satin ribbon attached using double sided tape

Materials used:
- White C6/A2, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of card (one white and one textured orange/red) cut to 14.2cm x 10cm
- One piece of white card cut to 13.7cm x 9.5cm
- Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Christmas flamingo and greeting and MFT presents stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
- Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour in what I HOPE are tropical fruit colours
- Stardust stickles used to highlight and Plaid dimensional gloss to the "lights" and baubles
- Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen used to doodle over the feathers on the flamingo, for extra sparkle

Such an elegant first card - I'm loving the colours and the long, clean lines <3 Your card for our tropical fruits colour challenge is great! I too didn;t have any tropical fruits, thought about the flaming i have but then decided to turn a slice of cheese into watermelon ;-) your card is super cute....If you paint your flamingo black he could be a vulture for halloween ;-)
