Wednesday ... now it's downhill to the weekend!

Morning readers

I have a card to share with you this morning, part of a commission for a friend, good news is that she liked it!

My card

 

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:

• White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to mat
• One piece of maroon card, cut to mat
• One piece of scrap card, cut to size and an aperture cut out - to use as a mask.
• With my mask in place I applied Distress Inks in aged mahogany and barn door, using the aged mahogany to sponge through a TCW stencil (437S - textures)
• Using a Dylusions squared stencil I applied glue stick adhesive through, burnishing with my fingers
• Having removed both the stencil and the mask I then applied a sheet of gold foil, again, burnishing with my fingers before setting aside for a couple of hours to "cure"
• Clearly Wordsworth sentiment (V009 - Everyday greetings) stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
