Monday, welcome to another week - also, IT'S RUDOLPH DAY!

Morning readers,

Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend and that any downpours didn't spoil your plans. We're dog sitting for the week, he's a lovely boy but was testing the boundaries Saturday ... begging for food (which he doesn't do at home) and going upstairs (again, doesn't even think of doing at home) but I think we won those battles as he was very relaxed yesterday.

It's Rudolph Day, the 25th of the month - designated (in the crafting world) as the day to make a Christmas project each month .... so you don't find yourself too far behind as Christmas approaches - GOOD LUCK with that!

I've a make to share with you today ....... I  have this snowman in two sizes but felt this smaller one to be the most appropriate for the sketch

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and Christmas red, for my card front, insert and matting
  • Snippets of leftover card in white and red - for my image panel
  • Funstamps snowman image (F-C50) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Ryman glitter pens and a Wink of Stella clear glitter gel brush pen used to add a touch of colour to my image
  • Crystal stickles sprinkled with Glamour dust (for the extra sparkly sparkle!)
  • Paper Artsy sentiment (from JOFY17) stamped using Versafine Clair tulip red ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge - challenge No. 604 - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES
  2. My Time To Craft - challenge No. 486 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY
  3. My Time To Craft CHRISTMAS - challenge no. 39 - CUTESY CHRISTMAS
  4. Snippets Playground - challenge No. 433 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY
  5. Creative Moments - challenge No. 236 - CUTE
I used a sketch for the above make, from a private Facebook group and presented by Chrissie Stokes ....

And now for a card made to enter the "Seeing Stars" challenge on the UK Stampers Forum group on Facebook - not a Clean And Simple card from me, makes a change!

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in black and white - for my card front, insert and matting
  • Snippets of card in black, grey and white - for my image panel
  • Nesting rectangle dies (WRMK) to cut my image panel and matting layers
  • Creative Expressions focal star image (from "Urban beats") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink and, whilst still wet, sprinkled with WOW! superfine clear embossing powder which I then heat set, repeating three times till I achieved a finish that was both high gloss and dimensional
  • HLS sentiment (from "doodled flowers") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • My Minds Eye stars (from "Happy Days" KFD143) stamped using Memento gray flannel ink
