Morning readers,
Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend, our Saturday was pretty quiet though a friend did stop by for a chat and a drink. Sunday was a family BBQ with the surrogates, to celebrate a birthday .. and the usual mayhem ensued! Great cake though, made by Sophie

I've a make to share with you today ....... got a bumper crop of new stash whilst I was away last week and was like a rabbit in the headlights as to which to start with. The set used below was part of a discussion after I THOUGHT I'd finished shopping, we got chatting with the store owner about the fabulous fonts used by Picture This and she said "hang on a minute, pretty sure I have some somewhere" and headed off to rummage. Sadly, she must have sold them all but ... she did unearth the set used today - a must have, IMHO!
Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, C6 card and matching envelope
- Card in white, mid grey and burgundy, for my card front, insert and matting
- Picture This image (from Little People 033 - 2023 - NBUS) stamped using Memento tuxedo black
- TCP sentiment (from S.5845.CL) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Using my magnetic mat I fixed my Clearly Besotted heart stencil over my card front image and, using a makeup brush, applied Distress Oxide in festive berries, mostly around the outer edge (for definition) but also to give just a hint of colour to the heart
- Alcohol markers to colour and B&M glitter markers to accentuate the gentleman's tie and the lady's coat buttons
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- NBUS - challenge No. 53 - USE NBUS
- My Time To Craft - challenge No. 514 - STENCILLING
- HLS - August STENCIL challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- Just Add Ink - challenge No. 665 - CAS (Clean And Simple)
- Ally's Angels - challenge No. 73 - ANYTHING GOES
And a few more pix of our recent Rye vacation .. a couple of trips out of Rye town itself - as you can see from the vivid blue skies, we were blessed with some GORGEOUS weather too. What a change in the weather THIS week, the rain woke us last night and is STILL coming down?!

What a beautiful anniversary card Kathy and an enjoyable visit to the Artistic Stamper... nothing like a bit of shopping. More wonderful photos of your trip last week, and it seems the weather was far better there than here. x
