2nd post - challenge entry! If you missed my earlier post then please scroll down

Afternoon folks,

Been working on my challenges this afternoon - one I quite like and the other I may have a second go at later in the week - can you tell which one's which?

Here's my entry for Craft Mad and Loving It ..... where there was both a sketch and a theme which, this week, was HELLO!

Materials used:
  • 5" Square white card
  • Kate Knight paper from which I drew my colour scheme
  • Die cut black card
  • Scalloped white ovals cut in two sizes, one coloured using lime pro marker and the other colored using Colour Box Marigold
  • Rectangle of white card on to which my Penny Black image was inked using Memento tuxedo black, coloured using pro markers, corners rounded and then edged with the Colour Box Marigold ink
  • Hero Arts sentiment inked in Memento tuxedo black on to the lime oval
  • Costco dot image inked in Studiog pink on to the Marigold panel

Hope you like it .... now here's my entry for the Simply Less Is More blog where the challenge was a One Layer Card and to feature INKS.

Materials used:
  • 5" square white card.
  • Hero Arts background stamp inked up using D.I. in victoria velvet and spritzed with sunburst yellow mica spray before stamping.
  • Paper Artsy lines image inked in versacolor gold
  • Lavinia Dandelion and mushroom images inked in Memento tuxedo black.

Hope you like this too - look forward to hearing your comments one and all.
Also been out for a drive this morning as we both wanted to play with our new toys (camera's), we headed north on the A38 towards Thornbury and then to Oldbury on Severn and Littleton on Severn and here are a small selection of the pix - mor will be appearing on the bottom of my blog in a slideshow - as I shrink and load them - check them out. The panoramic was taken by my hubby as I've not played with that function yet (or the 3D!) - it turned out real well, didn't it?

Littleton on Severn - panoramic taken from the church

Well I'll BEE!!!

This is the approach in to Thornbury but seen at 40mph!! hope you don't feel travel sick!

Hope you are having an awesome Saturday

Lovely cards . . . and I think your photo's are just GREAT with your new toys!

You asked about the Inkylicious duster brushes Kathy . . . well I think they are BRILLIANT. I have struggled and struggled with my brayer and the Inkssentials blending tool and haven't been pleased with the results. I have REALLY taken to the brushes though and loved the results I got from the word go. Personally, I can't recommend them highly enough. GO BUY SOME!

Hugs, Sandra x
