Monday? Again? Make it a good one!

Morning readers,

How was your weekend? First full week in January so it's back to normal, did you take your decorations down at the weekend? Or perhaps even before the weekend? We took our outside lights down before we usually would ... rain & possible snow in the forecast - didn't happen by the way!

I've a make to share with you today ...

My base layers

Materials used:

  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of Black & White designer paper, white card and white linen textured card
  • Pink & Main mod rectangle die - used on the white linen snippet
  • Aall & Create image (#433 "inky numbers" - Xmas 2025 - NBUS) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
  • Using a makeup brush I applied Memento rosebud ink to the black and white layer
  • Using a Ranger embossing dabber (Xmas 2025 - also NBUS) I dabbed a couple of random spots of embossing ink before brushing Pearl-ex Pink Flamingo mica powder
  • MFT sentiment (from CS.303) stamped on to a white snippet using Versafine Clair nocturne ink and then the starkness of the white card eased with using a makeup brush (without applying further ink) with Memento rosebud ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

  1. NBUS - challenge No. 82 - USE NBUS
  2. Creative Inspiration - challenge No. 34 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Love to Craft - challenge No. 90 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Craft Rocket - challenge No. 132 - SOMETHING NEW
  5. Allaboutpapercraft - challenge No. 1 - ALL ABOUT NEW

This is a lovely ATC with lots going on with the background paper and then the added stamped numbers and the added pink splats for a great pop of colour and given even more interest with the mod stitched rectangle and finished with some added blended pink ink and a lovely bold sentiment. x
