Welcome to my Wednesday post

Morning all,

Been a bit chilly this past few days, hope it's going to warm up for you all very soon.

Today's card started off as an ATC but I felt it kind of rocked as a masculine card, here's hoping you agree too!

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of navy, cut to mat
  • Snippets of white, grey and navy for my image panel
  • I sponged the grey ink through the dotty and alphabet stencils, to create a soft background before stamping the background script image using the same ink
  • Focal image and "fig 3" stamped using black ink
  • Hero Arts line image stamped twice, using the grey and the blue inks, stamping the happy birthday (on the back) between the lines. On the card front I masked the lines and stamped the background script using the grey ink again
  • The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped in black
Stamps: Hero Arts CL696 "Notebook essentials", Tim Holtz THMM112 and THJ009
Stencils: Tim Holtz set No.5

Three very different cards today Kathy, and the male image really does look great on the card, and then the pretily coloured cupcake is framed perfectly by the circle sentiment, and the geometric type circular shapes fit the LIM sketch beautifully. x
