Welcome to the start of a new week - but it's a Bank Holiday

Morning all,

Noticed that, with the introduction of the new GDPR, you no longer receive notifications of comments on your blog? Me too!!! My friend, the lovely Darnell, posted on her blog about it too .... her suggestion is that, once you've posted, immediately leave yourself a comment. As you do so you should see a box appear which says "e-mail follow up comments to ....@gmail" - if you check that box before publishing your comment then  you SHOULD start to receive them once more - let me know how that works out for you and THANK YOU DARNELL. Now all I have to do is remember to check my gmail account regularly - which I haven't been doing up to now!

OK, .... it was a Bank Holiday weekend so you KNOW it rained! Nothing for it but to stay in and craft. Not that it was cold - just dank!, naturally my thoughts gravitated toward Christmas cards (like they do)

My card
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White 12½cm square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit and two pieces of red card cut to mat
  • Snippets of card in both white and red, which I die cut in to a faux stitched and scallop edged square, respectively
  • Cuddly Buddly image and Inkadinkado sentiment both stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour image
  • Gold glitter washi tape used to bling up the design a little, along with a Wink of Stella clear glitter gel pen (on the fur, white parts of the scarf and the heart on the envelope
Cuddly Buddly "Special Delivery" + Inkadinkado 97734 "Warm Holiday Wishes"
I'll be entering this for the following challenges:-
  1. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - challenge No. 327 - USE SNIPPETS
  2. Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge - challenge No. 387 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  3. Hiding In My Craft Room - challenge No. 354 - CHRISTMAS
  4. Sweet Stampin' Christmas - May challenge - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES

So cute Kathy! Really made me smile. And finally, we have rain here after days of unbroken sunshine. Good luck with those little birdies - we have a lot of marauding cats here and need to be on our toes as much as possible.
