Morning readers,
Time to say goodbye to January and, personally, I'm not sorry, it's been the wettest I can remember, plus we've had a few stressful events to contend with .... but hopefully, February will be a LOT better!
I've a make to share with you today ... using up some snippets and some long neglected mica powder!

| My smooshed layer with background stamping - just look at that shimmer! |
Materials used:
- ATC blank
- Snippets of card in white and purple (recycled packaging)
- Using a blending mat and Distress Inks in picked raspberry and wilted violet, I sprayed with water before "smooshing" my white card a few times .... I sprinkled some Cosmic Shimmer mica powder in Lapis Lavener Lustre, to add some serious shimmer to my ATC, before setting aside to dry
- Some of the mica brushed off once dry but there was still a LOT of shimmer - as you can see from the photo of my "smooshed" layer above
- Kaisercraft text image ("Script" - from 2014) stamped in part but several times using Ranger Archival watering can ink
- Pinkfresh large sentiment (from PFCS0419 - from 2022) and Inkadinkado note image (from 98693 - from 2010) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Finally, a spray of Crafters Companion Spray and Shine to seal the project and protect it from accidental water activation ... otherwise known as "rain in transit"!!!
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- Love to Craft - challenge No. 90 - ANYTHING GOES
- Stamps and Fun = Creativity - challenge No. 488 - ANYTHING GOES
- Dream Valley Challenges - challenge No. 351 - ANYTHING GOES and a big welcome back to this challenge too
- Pammie's Inky Pinkies - challenge No. 2504 - ANYTHING GOES
- Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday challenge - ANYTHING GOES

I can imagine just how shimmery this is and protecting it against possible 'rain in transit' seems like a wise move given how wet it's been (and still is). Hopefully February will bring us better times
Super ATC in some of your fave colours. YOU rock! xxx
Fabulous ATC - your background looks amazing!
Thanks for joining us at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

This is an interesting look with the pink and purple smooshed Distress Inks and the added Lavender mica powder and the added script over the top to complete the background on this wonderful ATC Kathy. The large 'You Rock and notes stamped over the top stand out beautifully in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, and great on the deep purple matted background...a brilliant ATC. x
What a great card - loving all the shimmer! thanks for sharing it with us at Love to Craft
