Lazy Sunday ....

Morning all

After a nice day out at the Newbury Papercraft Show yesterday and then a lovely catch up with my brother and sister-in-law, I have (would you believe) yet ANOTHER ATC to share with you ...

My ATC

Materials used:

• ATC blank
• Snippets of card in white and red
• One the white card and using a Tim Holtz mini blender, I applied Distress Inks in carved pumpkin and candied apple
• Creative Expressions (from the Inspiring Edges set) "love" and small dot images stamped using Memento London fog ink
• Dina Wakley heart (from the "collaged hearts" set) stamped using Adirondack watermelon ink
• Dina Wakley sentiment (again "collaged hearts" set) and 49th and Market heart  ("with all my heart" set) image stamped using Memento tuxedo black
• Creative Expressions small dot image (from "Inspiring Edges" set) stamped around the outer edge using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Crafters Companion spray and shine spritzed over the image panel to protect the water based inks
• Plaid dimensional gloss applied over the two small hearts and set aside to dry to a dimensional gloss finish

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-

1. Just us girls - challenge No. 401 - BLENDING
2. Moving along with the times - challenge No. 49 - WEDDING/ANNIVERSARY or ENGAGEMENT

And now for a card - I'm a little short on thank you cards so ..... here's one made using a stamp I've not used in an absolute age

My card

 

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:

• 15cm square white, 300gsm, scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to 12cm square
• One piece of neon pink cut to 12½cm square
• One piece of black card cut to 13cm square
• Snippets of white, pink and black card for my image panel and matting
• Anita's sunflower image stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour, blended with Sansodor and a paper stump
• Stamps Anonymous (CMS155 Simple Sentiments) sentiment stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink

2. Crafty Creations - challenge No. 345 - ANYTHING GOES
3. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - challenge No. 289/290 - USE SNIPPETS

And now for the challenge card I SHOULD have made yesterday but didn't, because I was out ..

My card

Materials used:

• 12cm square, 250gsm, purple card and matching sized (and coloured) envelope
• Paper Artsy ZN10 image (New stash from Newbury) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour, blended with sansodor and a paper stump

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No's 336 and 337 (yes, that's right TWO weeks) - OLC and a COLOURED CARD BASE
2. AAA Cards - challenge No. 94 (in collaboration with LIM) OLC and a COLOURED CARD BASE
3. Gem of a challenge - challenge No. 198 - ANIMALS
4. Addicted to Stamps - challenge No. 249 CLEAN AND SIMPLE

 

Back to my trip to Newbury yesterday, caught up with Amanda, briefly, in the parking lot and spent some time with Debbie .. lunched at the Coach and Horses too - great chicken and bacon salad

And what did I buy? Sadly, not a lot - I had a budget of £50 but came home with more than half left!

Only these items caught my eye, from Imagination Crafts and Snazzys

I didn't even STOP at the card stand as I SOOOO do not need more card!!

Four power cuts yesterday evening, what IS that all about??? On and off all evening - mucked up our recording schedule a treat! BUMMER!
