Here comes another of those weekends ..

Morning all,

I have an uber CAS card this morning ... it's so NEARLY a One Layer Card too - maybe I WILL make a OLC take at some point. I love the proportions of this make ... and the way that just the taller bloom peeks out of my square.

My card
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White 12½cm square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 11½cm square
  • One piece of scrap card with a 5½cm square centrally die cut out - for use as a mask
  • Using washi tape to secure my mask in place over one of the white card panels I applied the turquoise ink using an Aldi blending brush and then, using the same method, I applied the same ink through the dotty stencil
  • Foliage image stamped using Versafine black ink and the sentiment using Memento black ink
  • Faux crystal gemstones adhered to bling it up
KanBan stamp set 08, Happy Little Stampers "Doodled Flowers", Memento tuxedo black ink,
Ranger Archival paradise teal, Versafine onyx black ink. Dutchdoobadoo stencil
I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 369 - CASE THIS CARD (see below) ... I went with flowers AND the colour ... it's also my 2nd entry
  2. Ellibelle's - challenge No. 9 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Stamp, Ink, Paper - challenge No. 144 - BIRTHDAY
  4. CraftaholicsRUs - challenge No. 14 - BIRTHDAY
  5. 4CraftyChicks - challenge No. 397 - FLOWERS

Earlier this week hubby and I were out to dinner at an Italian restaurant .... redeeming a Christmas gift (in voucher form) from our Secret Santa. We thought it was time to redeem the voucher and we picked our restaurant, booked it and enjoyed our evening - THANKS SECRET SANTA

Desserts were especially yumscrumptious!
My chocolate brownie and hubby's lemon cheesecake

This is a fabulous card Kathy, and love the way one of the flowers reaches outside the inked square, and love the additional stencilled dots in the background too. x

A wonderful CAS card Kathy, such a beautiful stamp!
Thanks so much for sharing this week at my Papercrafters' Linky Party. By the way, it's not really in conjunction with Allsorts challenge, it just happens that the day that challenge goes live (I'm on that DT) is when I post the linky party as well, but Allsorts challenge is separate, do come check it out, we have a new theme starting tomorrow here: "Allsorts" Just thought I'd clarify.
