Super Saturday

Morning all,

There's a challenge (recently started by Darnell) that asks us to use the same image to make two cards for two different occasions - this months challenge is PETS and here is my take on the TWOFERS challenge No. 4 ....

My TWOFER cards
And, should you want to see the details for the above two cards then see below ...

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Three pieces of white card cut to fit and mat
  • Inkadinkado image stamped using black ink
  • Stampendous sentiment (on the front panel) stamped using lilac posies and to the inside using onyx black inks
  • Coloursoft pencils used to colour
  • On the white matting layer I inked around the outer edge before overstamping using the Studiog and the same ink
Inkadinkado, Stampendous and Studiog
Versafine onyx black and Memento lilac posies ink
I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 369 - BRING SOMETHING BACK .... in my case it's the stamp set, which hasn't seen the light of day in a while and which I've had since 2010!
  2. Daring Cardmakers - April 13th challenge - ANIMAL ANTICS
  3. Mod Squad - April 4th challenge - SIMPLY Clean
  4. Aud Sentiments - challenge No. 201 - BIRTHDAY AND SENTIMENT (though, technically the Birthday sentiment is on the inside)

What a hoot that bulldog is, Kathy! I can't believe you haven't had fun with him in eight years! (Not judging, mind you, as I've got some stamp sets at the bottom of my NBUS mountain that date back cough years!) I love the diagonal stripe matting and purple shadow you gave him in your celebration card! It makes him seem even more ruff!! And then you went all out purple spots and background on your get well card which is sure to cheer someone up! I love them both!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #4! Hugs, Darnell

In answer to your question Darnell, I have used other images from the set but I believe this was the bulldogs first inking.
