Morning readers,
Having been on vacation and away from all my stash, I missed the last challenge over at Simply Less Is More, it was embossing and had neither hot gun nor big shot. So, I was determined to have a go today, to make up for it! Whilst I didn't have the exact inks (duck egg blue and plum) I rummaged for the closest colours - I'd like to think I came CLOSE

| My card |
Materials used:
- White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of white card cut to fit
- One piece of light blue textured card, cut to mat
- One scrap piece of card used as a mask, I used an MFT nesting rectangle die to cut the aperture
- With the mask in place I applied Distress Inks in tumbled glass and broken china using a mini blending tool
- With the mask still in place I stamped the Imagination Crafts script image (from their texture set) using the broken china ink and then removed the mask ...... for the inside, reverse and envelope I used Color Box French blue ink
- Clearly Inspired coneflower image (from LCS100 "Brushed flowers") using Versafine Clair purple delight ink
- Hero Arts sentiment (CL342 - "Everyday sayings") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- At this point I placed the mask back over my card front and applied a fine mist of Crafters Companion spray and shine, to protect the water based inks
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- Simply Less is More - challenge No. 397 - COLOUR CHALLENGE - see below
- Creative Knockouts - challenge No. 301 - ANYTHING GOES
- Cute Card Thursday - challenge No. 585 - ANYTHING GOES
