Monday - have a good week peeps

Morning readers,

Hope you had a good weekend and managed to stay both warm and dry! I met up with a couple of pals at a craft shop in Swindon, forgot to take a coat though!! Ooopsie. We had a natter and a shop before heading to a local hostelry for lunch and (non alcoholic) drinks. We weren't done with spending time together by the time we finished our lunch so hopped in the car and headed to the nearby village of Cricklade which has both a craft shop AND a wool/stitching store!! It also had a rather nice coffee shop! What a lovely way to spend a day with friends.

I've a make to share with you today .... also using new stash, from my recent U.S. vacation

My card

Materials used:

• White A2/C6, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to fit
• One piece of mid blue card, cut to mat
• Art Impressions image stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour image
• Gelly Roll glitter gel pens used to add subtle twinkle
• Stardust stickles to bling up the bobble and earrings!

Materials used:

• White A2/C6, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to fit
• One piece of turquoise card, cut to mat
• Katzelkraft image stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour the image
• Stardust stickles used to bling up the image

And, since I had new stash burning a hole in my Table of Craftiness .... I cracked the seal on a Christmas image AND took out something I haven't used in AGES .... mica powders!

Materials used:

• White C6/A2, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to fit
• One piece of deep green linen textured card (DCWV), cut to mat
• StudioLight SL394  stamped using Versafine Clair (both stamp and ink are new stash) shady lane ink
• Green mica powder applied whilst the ink was still wet .... and set with an application of hairspray. The sheen on the green mica/ink image looks almost gold, and yet it isn't!
• Elsewhere on the card I used a Christmas sentiment (JOFY17) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
