Morning and welcome to Challenge Saturday

Morning,

This post's a bit photo heavy too - sorry, but here's hoping you will enjoy them.

Over on Craft Mad and Loving It it has fallen to Karen to present the sketch or theme today and she has chosen "LET IT SNOW" as her theme for challenge #91 - this is an attempt to have us making cards throughout the year and to not have a mad panic come late November. I applaud the sentiment, Karen - thanks.

Materials used:
  • Scallop edged 5" x 7" 300 gsm white card and matching envelope
  • Holographic blue card cut slightly smaller than base card
  • White card cut slightly smaller than holographic panel and coloured with blue chalk
  • Fiskars snowflakes in various sizes inked in Memento Paris dusk, Versacolour silver and Brilliance lavender
  • Blue/white polka dot grosgrain ribbon
  • DCWV winter stack paper and white card cut in to nesting fancy rectangles using a GoKreate die set
  • Sparkle 'n Sprinkle penguin image inked in Memento tuxedo black on to the smaller white panel.
  • Panel edged using a Tim Holtz blending tool and D.I. tumbled glass
  • Image coloured using alcohol inks, Gloss accents and crystal Glamour Dust
  • Fiskars sentiment and snowflake inked in Memento Paris dusk and Brilliance lavender on to white card and die cut in to a small circle
  • Blue holographic card die cut in to a slightly larger circle
Hope you like it. If you fancy having a go and are already signed up to craftbubble then why not pop across to the Craft Mad and Loving It group and have a go?

It's also time for a new challenge over on the Simply Less Is More blog and if you follow the link here then you will see what it is. Go on, have a go - you KNOW you want to!!!

Meanwhile, here are a few more photos of our trip to San Frnacisco - ENJOY (I know we did!)

A beautiful fountain in central San Francisco

San Francisco's civic centre

Golden Gate Bridge - San Francisco - but you probably didn't need me to tell you that!
Amadeus the dog, parked outside of a pet shop run by his owner. You should have seen the cow bell round his neck. Yes, he was very friendly too, parking on my foot when I stopped to scratch his ears!

Have a fabulous Saturday and a great weekend - do check back later and see whether I've managed a Clean And Simple card for Chrissie and Mandi over on Simply Less Is More!
