Lazy Sunday

Morning all

Well, isn't Autumn getting closer? With the daddy long legs and the misty mornings ... nights drawing in too - hmmf, we'll soon be moaning about the cold too!

Anyhoo, I was prompted to use some more autumnal colours for this project ....... an ATC

My ATC
And a close up to show the extreme pearl of the acrylic ink spray
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of black card cut to ATC size
  • Snippet of white card 8 x 5cm
  • Adirondack inks: sunset orange, citrus and watermelon brayered on to the white card ... a panel done a few days ago but then not used ... until now!
  • Once dry I sprayed with a solution of water and Daler Rowney silver pearl acrylic ink which, once dry, is fully waterproof and will also seal the Adirondack inks
  • Kaisercraft mini grid image stamped using Ranger Archival sepia ink
  • Kaisercraft film strip edging stamped using Ranger Archival watering can ink
  • Chocolate Baroque spray image stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Using a white gel pen I doodled a line around the outer edge, embellishing with stardust stickles which I also used to highlight the spray image

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - challenge No. 246 - USE SNIPPETS
  2. Simply Papercraft for all occasions - challenge No. 36 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Through The Craft Room Door - September 6th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Hiding in my Craft Room - challenge No. 266 - SUPER SCRAPS SATURDAY

I love Chocolate Baroque stamps and Wisteria Lane is one that has been on my list for a long time, and the dandelion clock type image looks great used here on this pretty ATC Kathy. x

A fabulous design Kathy, yes Autumn is definitely round the corner, but a warm week will hopefully keep that feel of summer with us a little longer xxx

This is just so stylish. It always amazes me how such a simple stamp can look so special though your gorgeous background might have something to do with it! Have a lovely crafty week, Angela x

Love the film-tape style of the piece and of course the colours. So sad to think that summer is pretty much over now until next year. Meant to be very hot tomorrow and Wed though- wonder if it will be overcast hot or sunny hot??
