TGI Friday peeps - and FRIDAY FUN TIME!!!

Hi folks,

Friday again and the weekend starts HERE!!! Hope you have great plans

Right, as my regular followers will know I have been lucky enough to have been selected to be a Guest Design Team Member over at the Bah Humbug Christmas challenge blog, for the month of July. As July is coming rapidly to a close it is time to unveil my final card as part of the Design Team. This week's challenge is LACE and, without further ado, here is my card ....

Materials used:
  • 5" x 7" white 300gsm card and envelope
  • Burgundy card cut in to two panels and corners rounded
  • DCWV Spotty paper panel with corners rounded
  • Crafty Individuals sentiment inked in Brilliance pearlescent crimson, trimmed and corners rounded before mounting on to the smaller burgundy panel and then on to a silver holographic panel also with rounded corners.
  • Cream lace laid on top of burgundy organza ribbon and then attached to the spotty layer on my base card
  • 3 glittered gold "snowflakes"
  • 4 faux crystal gemstones
Hope you like it - hope the ladies at Humbug Hall like it too!! If you fancy entering then pop across and have a look at the challenge and other Design Team cards ..... here. Thanks to the peeps at Humbug Hall for giving me the opportunity to showcase my work on their blog, I had fun and can even (grudgingly) admit to enjoying the acetate theme!!!

In the meantime - it's time for the FRIDAY FUNNY once again, this week courtesy of Brenda Brown (thanks Brenda) - ENJOY!

This has been recently circulated by e-mail .........

Subject: Fwd: Half price iPads available if you are interested

Hi All

If you are interested in getting an iPad I can get hold of them through a contact. These are straight, not “off the back of a truck” – they are from a cancelled Hospital contract due to the Government cutbacks.

The numbers are limited - he has twenty iPads going for less than half price – so it’s first come first served.
He has already sold one (scroll down for picture below so you can see what you are getting).

Get back to me as quick as you can if you want one.

Full spec as below...........

And the moral of this story? If it sounds too good to be true ........ it probably IS!!!

Happy Friday - have a fantabulous weekend - see you tomorrow at the challenges!
