Morning readers and welcome to the start of another week!

Hi there,

Of course, no ACTUAL crafting got done yesterday although there was certainly chat about it and stash comparison and envy!!!

I did however, forget to share a card from Saturday with you - so here it is, better late than never! I hope you like it - I DO love monochrome!

Materials used:
  • 5" square 300gsm white card and envelope
  • 4.75" square of black card
  • 4.5" square of white "Rymans" 200gsm card (thanks Lauren)
  • Three stamps of Wynneths - sorry, I only recall that "enjoy the journey" is by Tim Holtz
  • Memento tuxedo black ink

I also forgot to thank Wynneth for the HUGE sacrifice she made by leaving so much of her beloved stash behind in order that she could deliver my cardstock (and Lauren's!). We placed a joint order for cardstock and needed to make up a substantial value order so Lauren and I jumped in to help out ----- this was the pile Wynneth brought, just for me!!

It transpired that Cherry, Debs, Lauren, Wynneth and myself all headed to Newbury's Artstamps show yesterday, arriving just shortly after 11:00 (in three cars) and competing for parking spaces with the car booters!!!! However, we soon found ourselves inside and shopping ....... in fact we ALMOST forgot to stop for lunch - if it hadn't been thirst then we MIGHT indeed have forgotten - in our rush to buy one of everything (between us, of course)!! Newbury race course is a great venue for something like this and our plan to go on Sunday, being quieter, paid off as it was (quieter, that is!).

L-R: Lauren, Cherry, Wynneth and Debs
Here we are at rest and planning our strategy for our afternoon foray!

And just a small amount of stash??????? OMG!

Hope you had a splendid weekend, I had an absolute ball and would like to thank the above craftathoniers for making it so very much fun - can't wait till we can do it all again. Special thanks to Cherry for making such fab crochet badges for us all - bet you can't guess what colour Cherry made mine????

Have a wonderful week, I should be in hog heaven with all this fabulous new stash to play with .....!?!?!? And, of course, I have the Sunday themed challenge which is TINY STAMPS to do for the gals over on Craft Mad and Loving It ...... lucky I acquired one or two new small stamps in amongst that little lot .... isn't it?

Debs, I hope you aren't in too much discomfort as a result of yesterday, so glad you were well enough to come along, and NOW we know where the lifts are!!!

For those followers or browsers in the U.S. then Happy 4th of July

Great card Kathy, even better ( if that is possible) in real life - I can vouch for that after yesterday. Love the stamps you have used and how you have placed them. Thanks for a lovely day and for driving. Lovely to meet Steve too. I wonder which stamp you will use for your tiny stamp challenge? Have a good Tuesday Hugs Cherry XXx
