First off the craft table is my Simply Less Is More entry. The challenge this week is to make a One Layer Card (OLC) and to feature FRAMES and here's mine ....
Materials used:
- 5" square white card and envelope
- Circular frame kept from a die cutting exercise recently.
- Post its to hold the frame in place and to prevent accidental colour spill
- Distress Inks in: Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick
- Sunshine Designs images (in two sizes) and Papermania sentiment both inked in Memento tuxedo black
Hope you like it and now on to the second challenge which is for the Craft Mad & Loving It group over on craftbubble . . . this week the sketch was set by Lauren and her additional twist was to concentrate on the colouring and not to over embellish and here it is ....
Materials used:
- 5" x 7" white 300gsm card and envelope
- Costco double sided paper (plain deep pink) panel with corners rounded
- Coredinations linen texture card in light pink given the Martha Stewart corner punch treatment
- Dusky pink organza ribbon
- Glossy white textured oval panel edged with Studiog deep pink ink
- Image coloured using marvy le plume alcohol markers (first batch of markers from the auto delivery of QVC's recent TSV!)
- Two faux crystal gemstones

Despite my recent deep admiration of a number of cards featuring green and my personal feeling that today's work WOULD have been green .... in fact, neither have been! I don't get it, I just don't get it - ah well, maybe tomorrows!
